I'm impressed!
I don't usually leave reviews but I am impressed with this hot-pot. I put 15oz. of cool water into the pot, I figured that is about the size as a can of soup, wthin 2 minutes it was boiling!WOW! It's very well built and well designed. It's actually a little smaller than I pictured it would be, which is wonderful for traveling. It holds nearly a quart. I also like the fact that when you pick up the pot to pour it the base stays on the counter and you don't have to drag the cord around with it. Very well thought out. About the same size as a roll of toilet paper. I can't attest for it's longevity as I have just received it.

Reeeeaaalu great hot water pot
Really a great water boiler with a lid. It actualing holds 950 ml (32 oz not 20). Not sure why they don’t brag about this I am not sure. It has a spout and lid and keep hot water cold in 60 degree weather for 1 hour and 30 minutes with out being turn on. I bought it and use instant coffee when use with my jeep outlander rid(battery pack). Compared to a 20oz “camping” pot that cost $100 I think this is awesome

Good review however.....
This is a great kettle and it has high performance. However, because of it's bulkier, size and the top, it doesn't screw down and doesn't clamp on, I wouldn't necessarily say it's ideal for travel. But, it is a great kettle. It's fast and it has a larger capacity than most of them .

Great product
It’s great to have for work. I can heat up my food or even just boil some eggs. Great for soup as well.

When a product is *exactly* as described... (thumbs up emoji)
In an age of conspiracy theories, I always wonder if competing sellers don't leave negative reviews for one another when they are selling what is essentially the exact same, Chinese made product. You know what I'm talking about? Where even the stock images are identical, with the same model of product and same human model showing it off... Is there an advantage to flooding a competitor with fake negative reviews in their spare time? For example, look at the pic I posted. One review I read said the top cover was "runner" and how intense steam would cause micro pieces of rubber to fall into your water/soup/whatever.... Well, the darn exterior is rubber but you can clearly see a metal plate that prevents exactly what that review claimed. Now there IS what seems to be a silicone gasket around the edge that helps seal the contact between the top and the kettle. But silicone is not rubber, nor does it seem to me the steam comes into contact where this would be a concern about foreign particles contaminating your food. This thing is exactly as advertised. I just boiled some water for tea and it took just shy of 4mins to get a rolling boil (I know, probably too hot for tea, but you get the point). What I like best is the chord rolls up into the cavity of the base, then the base and be out inisde the kettle itself for packing/travel. The handles fold around the kettle.I have a Jet Boil that I've used for camping and I've used for travel (minor coffee snob who hates the "free" hotel coffee maker). I just never felt comfortable with an open flame in a hotel room, let alone traveling with canisters for fuel, so I got this to replace that for travel. I'll keep the Jet Boil for camping. Starbucks instant coffee, tea, packet of instant oatmeal whole traveling, good ol Top Ramen whenever... I'm set. 10 mins into owning it, and I'm happy I bought it.This unit also has a constant heating option as well that I haven't played with and may never need.

Good for traveling
Good so far. I've only used it a handful of times. I take it with me when traveling since some hotels I stay in don't have in room kettles.

Awkward handles/broken lid
I thought this was decent. It does what it needs to do. I'm not a big fan of the foldable handle, thought it was kind of annoying and the power button is right beneath it.Update-Feb 28Hasn't been very long and the metal plate on the bottom of the lid broke off. Disappointed
